    Frequently Asked Questions

When will I get access to my School Saving Bonus Parent and Carer System?
The Department of Education has given a timeline of 26th November when you will be able to log in and access the portal.

What is covered by the School Saving Bonus?
All items on your school’s booklist are eligible for purchase under the School Saving Bonus.

Will the voucher cover delivery fees?
Yes, all delivery fees are covered by the School Saving Bonus.

How will I know what amount to redeem in my portal? E.g. $50, $100 etc
We recommend viewing your booklist online at www.lilydalebooks.com.au/booklist to calculate the total of your order before redeeming your voucher in the portal.

Can I use my School Saving Bonus in store?
No, we will only be accepting vouchers online via the booklist. Find your 2025 booklist here: www.lilydalebooks.com.au/booklist

If you are unable to complete the process online, please come in store and we will be able to assist you.

Do I have to use the full amount of my voucher in one transaction?
You can use all or part of your voucher in a single transaction. If there is a balance remaining on your voucher this will be displayed, and the same voucher can be used for your next order.

Can I use more than one voucher against a student order?
Yes, you can use multiple vouchers against an order. These can also be from different students.

You can apply multiple vouchers until they fully cover your order amount including delivery fees. If there's a remaining balance on your voucher, it will be shown and can be used for another order.

How do I spend the remaining amount left on my voucher?
Simply place another order via the booklist and apply your voucher. You can continue to use the same voucher until the entire amount has been spent.

Each time you use your voucher, the remaining balance will be shown at checkout.

What happens to the balance of my voucher?
If you do not need to spend the entire amount of your voucher, the balance will remain with Lilydale Books until 30th June 2025.

How do I find out how much I have left of my voucher?
We recommend making note of your vouchers and balance each time you place an order. Your Tax Invoice will advise how much you have spent from a voucher.

If you have created an account with Lilydale Books this information will be visible under My Orders. We can also SMS or email you a copy of your receipt.

Lilydale Books will not be able to advise the balance of vouchers or voucher numbers via email, phone or in store for security purposes. If you are unsure of your balance we recommend starting an order via the booklist and entering your voucher number, this will indicate your remaining balance.

How do I find out how much I have remaining of my School Saving Bonus?
Log into the School Saving Bonus Parent and Carer System, your dashboard will show you how much of your School Saving Bonus is remaining.

    Bonus Code vs Voucher
The Department will provide parents with a Bonus Code to log into the portal. From here you can follow the prompts to redeem a voucher for Lilydale Books.

Bonus Code = Department of Education
    Voucher = Lilydale Books

    Refunds
No refunds will be given on items purchased with the School Saving Bonus. In the instance of a change of mind, a credit note will be provided. This will expire at the end of June 2025.

I’ve already purchased my booklist, can I have a refund so I can use my School Saving Bonus?
Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds on purchases under the School Saving Bonus. Once an order has been placed, we are unable to process refunds. However, you can save your voucher for future purchases, as it will remain valid until the end of June, 2025.

What happens if I have not used the full amount by 30th June 2025?
Any unused vouchers by time of expiry on 30th June 2025 will be transferred to your child’s school account by the Department of Education as an activities credit on 1 July 2025.
