This publication features the work of leading new media artists invited to participate in the inaugural Premier of Queensland's National New Media Art Award. The exhibition and Award will be presented every two years, and winning works will become part of the Queensland Art Galleryâ€™s permanent collection. The 2008 short-listed artists are Peter Alwast, Julie Dowling, Anita Fontaine, David Haines and Joyce Hinterding, Natalie Jeremijenko, Adam Nash, Sam Smith, John Tonkin and Mari Velonaki.
