Dear Customers,
In light of the unprecedented circumstances following the outbreak of COVID-19, we want to provide you with an update on the precautionary measures we are putting in place to protect our staff and customers.
Our Course of Action
Our existing hygiene and cleanliness standards have increased in line with government recommendations. This includes frequently sanitising high-touch areas such as counters, door handles, EFTPOS machine and doorbell.
We encourage customers to use contactless payment where possible. Our staff have increased the frequency of washing their hands and using alcohol based rubs. Staff are encouraged to practice social distancing between each other and are supported to stay home if they feel unwell for any reason.
If you have recently travelled overseas, or experiencing flu, cold or cough symptoms, we ask as a courtesy to please inform our staff. Alternatively, we encourage you to shop via our online catalogue and select Home Delivery to minimise movement in the community.

Usual Trading Hours
Click & Collect is still an option and our store is trading as normal. We are happy to answer any queries over the phone on 03 9739 6186. Store operations may change as further instructions from the Government are released.
Stock Availability
Our inventory remains strong at this point in time. Our store is well stocked with stationery, VCE revision material and textbooks and we don’t expect this to be affected in the short term. However please be mindful there is also a possibility that we may encounter delays or disruptions for some availability should our publishers and suppliers close. If we encounter any difficulties, we will communicate this to you in a transparent way.
As Lilydale Books is reliant on third party service providers, such as Australia Post, please be patient during this challenging time.
School Closures
If your school has closed, this doesn’t mean you have to stop all learning. Lilydale Books has options to assist you continue your studies at home.
Does your textbook have an eBook component but you are unsure how to access it? Give us a call and we will happily assist you over the phone. Do you have a second hand text book and would like to access eBook component? Reactivation eBooks can be browsed and purchased here.
We stock a variety of additional study material such as text guides and comparisons from publishers including Insight Text Guides, VCE Checkpoints, ATAR Topic Tests, Notes, Text Guides and more. These can be viewed and purchased here.
